Drinks like solid entry level Napa Cab. Tight on opening. Needs time though. Even an hour in the glass was not much help. Much better second day, but not particularly complex, big gap in the mid-palate. Enjoyable but certainly not a value play even at the $25 I paid.

Blind tasted against 2014 Meyer Family Bonny's Vineyard ($120) and 2014 Shafer Hillside Select ($300!) - and the Markham was clearly the group's favorite (4/5 rated it the best of the tasting). Pretty amazing given it's $35 price point at the time of purchase.

Uninteresting cabernet. Acceptable. I'm glad I didn't pay $30+ for it.
