Cherry, cranberry, dark fruits, herbs, maybe a little rhubarb? and just a touch of earth. Drinking much better than our December bottle, this may have been the WOTN.
Good with the pork ribs or on its own. Drink now.

Notes of cherry, some cranberry and quite a bit of stewed plum on the finish, with a touch of earth. To me the plum on the end showed the wine is in decline. It wasn’t bad but to me better a couple of years ago.
Jen liked this wine better than I did.
Better with food. Great qpr. Drink now or find a better bottle.

The last two bottles of this have shown really well, after a couple off bottles sometime back. This continued to open up over the coarse of a few hours open, with the last pours being the best. moderately expressive nose, dark fruits and some emerging earthiness. Enough structure to give freshness. 91ish

I usually love the Sandler wines, but.... this bottle was medium bodied with dark color, but showed little structure, cut or pinot typicity. Tasted blind, I'd have guessed a $10 grocery store pinot with a bunch of merlot in it. Almost no boquet, and some dark fruit flavor. I am fairly hyper-sensitive to TCA, but detected none. I'll chalk this up to an off bottle 85 pts would be generous

Just a real nice pinot that is drinking so well it must be in its prime. A great QPR that went well with food. Thanks Ed.
