  For a C$28 wine this is quite good. Needed to be decanted for 90 minutes.

  Time to get more of this wine. This has been a long time favorite producer and they deliver a classic Chianti with sour cherry notes that is a match made in heaven for Italian dishes. This was the best of 4 bottles consumed over the past six months.

  This wine earned a point since my last bottle 10 months ago. What a Chianti Classico should be and perfect for that Wednesday night pasta dinner. Friendly with the food and light enough for after dinner watching the nightly news.

  Not as good as the 2008 we had a couple of weeks ago as this had less depth. I was hoping to score more of the 08 but the retail outlet only had the 2010's on the shelf. Not bad though as Carpineto is one of my "go to" producers for a decent Chianti Classico.
