  Rich and ripe in the typical style of Sta. Rita Hills pinot noirs. Dark cherry, spice and earth with a medium to full body and a velvety texture. Some bitterness, especially on the finish. 89-90

  Somewhat monolithic. The blackberry and black cherry flavors take a back seat to the oak and earth. Surprisingly little spice flavor. Finishes with soft tannins.

  Not much has changed over the past 8 months - still a very nice wine with plenty of rich, ripe fruit, a smooth texture, rounded edges and nice balance. Tasted yesterday and no notes, but it was a bit like revisiting an old friend who you always enjoy seeing again.
