1hr+ decant. Loved this! Dark red color with a high quality nose and finish. Tough to describe but it’s what you expected to smell and taste in a higher end Bordeaux. I sensed some Italian influence as the tannins were prominent. Paired nicely with ham and sweet potatoes. Merry Christmas!!

This fine lady is really maturing into her own. If it is not in it’s sweet spot it is pretty close. I had this Coravin ‘d. I am uncorking all my bottles that are Coravin ‘d for the holiday with my brother. Enjoy this baby

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): Again a slightly dusty glass. Plummy, rich, dense smelling with a very slight herbaceous underpin, a little gameyness with time. Juicy, fleshy, tight textured drying tannins prove woody. Plenty of front of mouth grip. There may be fruit somewhere between the grains of the wood. Meh

7/6/2022 Double Blind Night at Kevin's: Med+/Pronounced intensity, dark fruits, ripe plum, black cherry, chocolate, baking spices, coffee, coffee grounds. Full body, med+/long finish, med acid, med+ tannins. A little bitter on the finish. Good depth to the wine, fairly complex, just a little clumsy - too much base, not enough treble. 90 pts

Good nose but is dull on the palate. It is hard for me to see where this resolves to at it's best drinking point. Not a lot of fruit.
