  • This has blossomed beautifully in six years since my last bottle...still quite youthful and somewhat primary...but showing more Vosne spice notes of sandalwood, dried red licorice, white pepper, dried roses...still smooth as SILK texture, yet a solid mineral and crushed rock structure...very pretty wild red berry fruits...subtle sous bois, white mushroom earth tones starting to show...as well as that sneaky nuanced curry powder that I got on the first bottle. Lot of elegance yet restraint here...wish I had more bottles to age out another 10 or so years. Great wine! ps. is it true still only 100 cases imported of this wine? Seems low?

  • Drak fruits, vosne spice, lovely minerality/acidity and nice, grippy tannins. For my tastes, this was way too young, but I thought I'd sacrifice this in the name of "science". Though very good now, should be better in 5 years (if not more).

  • I don’t have too much experience with red Burgundy but I found this exquisite. This was subtle, not sweet but really appealing, nice minerality and a bit of dryness on the finish. Wish I had more - really poised and elegant.

  • Very tasty and easy drinkin Village here…..smooth and silky, yet with some sneaky spice and structure in there. Plush red berries, fully ripe, but still savory…….nice dried florals and spices, as well as underbrush and forest, slight curry powder, licorice. Not huge in the Vosne spice…but does show a little white pepper and potpourri. Subtle minerality with some limestone, crushed stone….really balanced….but will benefit with years. I'd load up on this if it were under $30…but at $50??? Great drink though!

  • Cherry skin color. Shy floral aromas. Pretty, silky entry. Pure cherry and loam flavors with light spice on the finish. A tad tart. Lovely. Purchased for $37. This is drinking great right now. 90
