Striking yellow color described by my wife as urine meets apple juice. This a high viscosity wine showing long legs. Nutty nose leading to buttery, orange flavors. Nice mouth feel mid palate but ends in unpleasant note on the finish potentially resulting either from the wine being past its peak or improper storage (bought recently). My first Roussanne.

This wine has a very intense yellow color, looks like honey/straw. Very lovely buttery nose, taste of butter, orange, toasted almonds. What lets this wine down from potentially a much higher rating is a very sharp aftertaste the is reminiscent of orange peel.

Drinks very nicely indeed. I cannot profess to be a Roussanne expert, but I may well buy this again if I can find it here in the UK. A buttery / nutty flavour with a hint of citrus. A touch of sweetness follows, but it is only slight and in no way syrupy / overpowering. The finish is soft and without any discernible sharpness. Very good QPR, highly recommend.

santa maria valley, 14.5% alcohol.
this is a lovely, lovely wine. i first had it at a trade tasting, and immediately bought a case. every single bottle has been a joy to drink.
hazelnut, honeysuckle, almond. delicious!
this is the perfect reason NOT to drink chardonnay. $22 a bottle by the case, and i wish i had another.
