Very good. Quite complex, layered and exhibiting signs of maturity. Nice bouquet, hint of tropical fruits, pearblossum peach with a savory element. Dense mouthfeel, rich with classic elements of aged Roussanne, peach, spicy almonds. Mature, but fresh and no overt signs of oxidation. Would like to try again. Good effort and a testament to solid winemaking.

My first Roussanne (and my first Qupé in maybe 10 years), tried at Park Tavern. Pale color, nose of diesel (in a good way) and an initial taste of exactly what a TN below says -- Honeynut Cheerios. And then before you start traveling the Riesling path it goes all minerals and chardonnay on you. Really a delight to try and it complemented my black cod like a dream.

It was liquid gold, very layered with some riesling like notes ,yet with a full mouth feel.I think it is at its prime.Chardonnay like finish full and round.

Sante @ the Fairmont Sonoma, CA
Golden hues, full bodied
Green pears, honey, some petrol notes,
Heavy upfront taste with a medium + finish, wet hay,
Wow! What a nice surprise. This wine was drinking perfectly. Its nice to see producers growing less popular varietals .
