DEFINITELY NOT PAST DRINKING WINDOW!!!! Drank Beautiful! Very elegant but bold. Almost that of a properly aged Far Niente or Shafer Hillside, just on a smaller, more reasonable scale. Love these wines, ESPECIALLY for the price point! Always a home run when opening a properly aged & stored Regusci. Not getting any better, but I think there are enough tannins there to hold it for a couple more years

An all around decent cab, but not outstanding. Decanted and filtered, still in its prime. Dark and bold, but depth was lacking. I think the bottle and label add to the aura of the wine.

Fully expected that this wine would be past its prime, but I found it to be silky and sophisticated yet with enough body to hold up to the grilled beef entreé it was served with. A wonderful surprise!

Popped and poured. Opened up quickly to reveal well-integrated fruit and tannins, later developing an attractive leather note. Moderate finish. Easy to drink at this age and very enjoyed.

Visited the winery back in '05 or '06 with friends and they recently gave me this bottle that they purchased there. Spectacular nose of cassis, earth, spice and oak - hints at a lot of richness, depth and power. Not quite as good on the palate as the flavors are a bit muted and there is some prune in the mix. What I recall as being a powerful wine has now mellowed. Medium, almost lean body, smooth and rather elegant - like an aged bordeaux. Solid finish. Probably a bit beyond its peak, but still very enjoyable. 91-92
