  • Decanted for two hours in the morning, poured over dinner. Dark garnet colour. Red and dark fruit, chocolate, tobacco, spices, and tea, with good acidity, partly resolved tannin, and very good length. The wine kept improving as time passed, paired well with a rib-eye steak, and drank well. By day two the wine was even smoother and integrated. Drink or hold.

  • Garden party. Double decanted for two hours. The wine offered dark fruit, chocolate, some coffee, spices, cinnamon and tobacco as well as vegetal an mild balsamic notes on the palate, with good acidity, fine tannin and good length. The medium-bodied wine was balanced and very smooth. We saved a glass for the next day and the wine was even smoother and more complete on day two. A very good wine. We liked it for its balance and smoothness.
