PnP and then decanted. Pure elegance. A bit tight at first, but an hour in the decanter over appetizers and it opened up quite nicely. Last sip about 3 hours in was the best. Silky texture and no way it actually measures to the 14% on the bottle.

Dibbs' early birthday: Agree that this was too young to open but wanted to check in on one. Wonderful crystalline red fruit and seductive nose on opening but became shutdown with air as the structure and tannin came to dominate. Everyone was in burgundy for this and I could see why, I really loved the weightless quality on this. Started to come out of its shell only at the end of the night, but the potential is immense on this one. Very much my kind of wine but I’ll keep my bottle away for at least 10 more years.
I was able to follow this wine throughout the night from pop to finish (5 hours). It really took me to Grand Cru or near GC Gevrey characteristics. Incredible perfume, sexiness, and elegance at the opening but with structure. Then got tighter and tighter in the decanter. The perfume was always there but the palate wasn't open. It's too early to drink by a decade. But luckily for us, it finally opened up at the very end of the night and showed immense class on the palate finally. Don't touch this wine for a decade. This is a 99-100 pointer in the making!
