nice and refined as Asinone always is. Rubin red still, with a brown edge, nose of fainted red fruit and underbrush, consistent palate with a round and juicy (after 1h) taste, really pleasant and mouthfilling, and some spices in the aftertaste. Paired with a T-bone steak from Piemonte in a curfew evening at MM's and a 1999 Fontanafredda Barolo, almost 1y later...

Eher der kräuterwürzige Typ. Noch viel weiches Tannin. Nicht ganz in Balance! Es fehlt ein wenig an Frucht! Diese Flasche trank sich mit ordentlich Luft trotzdem noch gut! Lieber früher als später trinken!

Was a little bit afraid due to previous comments but my bottle was flawless! Just beautiful open nose with complex characteristic. Palate was well-structured with strong but integrated tannins. Lots of dark berries and very typical fruit of vino nobile.
