  Coravin fun - Chardonnay and random reds (Day Street, Marrickville): From Coravin. Apple, cream , slight sweet spice with hints of lemon, minerals and slight gun smoke. Slightly sour and stalky fruit with almost tarragon. There is some tannic grip here as well. Hmm.

  Tons of oak on the nose. I mean tons. Beyond that lies some tropical and citrus elements. On the palate it's rich and creamy, with a hint of minerality. I liked how it tasted far better than how it smelled. This has some lift left in it, I'd age for another few years and hope that the oak integrates better.

  Faiveley Wine Dinner at Donna’s (Donna’s Baltimore): Fat, a hint of mint, sweet and yellow fruits where the 10 displays white fruits. The fruit expression is relatively fresh, ie no tropical fruits. Fat palate but lacking acidity resulting in clumsy impression.
