A lighter style auslese. Very good acidity to balance the sweetness. Marmalade and candle wax and lime zest with hints of ginger. Paired well with a fruit tart.

Half bottle. Very honeyed. Light weight, good concentration and impact. Moderately sweet, very focused stone fruit, fine acidity, good complexity. Excellent showing.

Half bottle. Full yellow with some orange. Peach, apple, honey, and vanilla. Fairly viscous for a Mosel Goldkap, moderately sweet, complex melange of stone and tropical fruit with a nice spicy edge. The only downside is lower acidity and absent slate or minerality. Fat, round, and tasty for sure, but lacking refinement and ideal acid/sugar balance of better examples.

Dilute on midpalate. Low acidity. Bottle variation?
