Shared with Greg and Mo. Surprisingly good - especially on opening. Flattened out a bit over time. Leather, spice, black fruit. Lomg finish with some complexity. Aged so well at this price point.

Delightful nose of baked black cherries, blackberries, vanilla and wood/baking spice. Medium-full bodied and plush. Loaded with blackberry pie fruit new oak and spice. Really round with bright acidity and gritty tannin on the finish. It’s just a delight to drink. Drink now-2025. 92

One word. YUM!! I just love when a wine just coats my entire mouth with flavor and texture. My notes from my first tasting still stands except that it’s well balanced, smooth and delicious!

(Bodegas Olarra Rioja Cerro Anon Reserva) Saturated very dark ruby color; appealing, refined, cherry cordial, tart blackberry, vanilla, black raspberry nose; tight, creamy textured, youthful, cherry cordial, ripe blackberry, vanilla, black raspberry palate with lowish acidity; needs 5-6 years and should go 10+; medium-plus finish (14.5% alcohol; ripe, modern style of Rioja that's a great value at about $12) 91+ points

Fantastic traditional rioja with a sexy, funky nose and sharp dried cherry fruit. An astounding wine at any price and especially good at $20.
