Early maturity...light acid. a little high RS...really easy to drink over a couple of days. Smooth...no bitters. Fine sediment...should be good for years.

(Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese) Light green-tinged yellow color; aromatic, tart white peach, tart lime nose; tart white peach, tart lime palate; medium-plus finish
(Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese) ($28.00) Somewhat masculine and stern this year, almost adamant; some stainless steel in the vinification. But it has the ‘11 slatey dissolve and the fresh sweet-straw finish, which encompasses an archly pointed minerality. *

Petrol on the nose. Lime, honey with good concentration and mouth feel. Enough acidity to balance the sweetness. Excellent overall.

Focused and crisp acidity despite a bit above average RS. Full bodied with long length and pleasant finish.
