  I found a final bottle in a cellar, whose existence was actually a (welcome) surprise to me. Still firing on all cylinders!

  Has nice fruit, but not overly sweet / modern. Has nice tannins but not too many. A nice compromise between "modern" and "traditional" styles and should be pleasing to a wide array of Nebbiolo lovers. Has entered its drinking window by now IMHO.

  Mycket gott. Skulle nog fått någon poäng mer om jag druckit det i lugn och ro på trappen i stället för med i och för sig jätterevliga gäster.
  Röd mogen frukt – utan att vara syltigt. Fylligt men ändå slankt. Tanninrikt utan att vara strävt. Jävligt sofistikerat helt enkelt.

  Needs an hour decant to really come around and deepen. Slightly rustic with a fantastic nose of sweet milk chocolate, truffle, and dried herbs. Palate is similar but with metallic and iron rich. Less sweet than others I've had. Still highly acidic and young needing a few more years.

  Mogen men ändå pigg barolo. Svårt att inte bli väldigt förtjust i detta.

  Färg: Medel rubin-tegel.
  Kant: 3 mm mot vattenklar.
  Intensitet: Medel –.
  Färgar glaset? Yttepytte.
  Gardiner: Tunna.
  
  DOFT
  Korrekt? Ja.
  Doftintensitet: Medel.
  Doft: Frukt - röda bär - hallon, jordgubbar. Blommor - rosor? Ålder - höstlöv, läder. Fat - ljus choklad.
  Utveckling: Moget.
  
  SMAK
  Torrt/sött: Torrt.
  Syra: Hög.
  Tanniner: Fina men närvarande.
  Alkohol: Lite hal, kanske (14 procent).
  Fyllighet: Medel.
  Smakstyrka: Medel.
  Smak: Frukt - röda bär körsbär, hallon. Ålder - skogsstig, svamp, läder.
  Textur/balans/bubblighet: Nä.
  Eftersmak: Medel + med mogen frukt.
  
  SLUTSATSER
  Kvalitet: Mycket bra.
  Drickabilitet: I toppform nu men kan kanske förfinas med några års ytterligare lagring.
  Geografi: Piemonte.
