Agree that this definitely needs decanting. This is the province of wine adventure and will not be a casual "glass of wine". Copper, ice-tea colored and extremely volatile and acetic when first poured, this slowly gets itself together over an hour with a fascinating range of scents - licorice, spices, citrus peel and honey. Always changing and food friendly. Will follow over a few days.

Stunning nose. Orange, orange peel, mint, white chocolate, sherry and cognac, hint of ox, vanilla powder, brown sugar, coconut and much more. Great complexity here and balance between fruit and body. Def more of a red wine on the palate, high acidity and medium strong tannins. A bit dry in the aftertaste with orange peel and cognac. Very interesting and entertaining. Nose > Palate.

With a nose developed to protect this unique " Orange wine " - this wine fights hard to hide its true beauty - not accessible by any means this is a rose without the thornes ....
Enjoy at your peril !

Virtual Visit to Friuli by Juancho Asenjo (Enoteca Barolo - Madrid): Looking like a pale Amontillado in the colour. Pure gasoline on the nose with aromas a rotten roses of pink colour and smashed bones of green olives. Bark of cheese too. On the other hand, palate is mineral and tasty, acidic and long. A curiosity.

Always important to decant these wines. Very elegant! Great pair to lobsters.
