Opened up within half an hour. it is complex and layered, intense, with nutty, oxidative nose, mostly reminding me of dry sherry. In the mouth sits rounded and savoury. 1000ml bottle, 12.5% alc, recommended serving temp 15°C.

A private lunch (Restaurant Buffet van Odette, Amsterdam, NL): Macerated on the skins for four months, aged for four years in oak and two years in bottle, 500ml, 12.5% ABV. Coppery gold with a hint of tawny, slightly cloudy; sour orange on the nose, delicately nutty; dry and firm palate, medium body, with bitters from the skins and warmth from the wood; lovely complexity and length on the finish.

Friday the 13 (Big Wine Freaks Moscow): 93+/100
Every bottle of Radikon is a treat, and this 500ml beauty is no exception.
While it would likely benefit from additional cellar time, it’s a stellar and complex juice already. Honey, beehive, propolis, and chewy waxy tannin.
An outstanding amber wine just entering the beginning of its prime.
