Upon opening wonderful old world charm. sous bois, dark fruits, must, game, mushroom, leather, etc. amazing for $15 bottle!!! Must buy more. As we tasted through the evening, it was multi climatic as O2 came into contact. Day 2, must & game blew off but still lovely. Medium tannins, good acidity, we’ll balanced. Will buy more for sure for $15. We visited another Château of Andre Lurton in Graves France in 2017 and did a tasting of all his offerings and every wine was excellent quality. Every wine from him we buy no questions asked.

Exotic blueberry and sloe fruit aromas, almost like a young Aussie Shiraz. Full bodied, juicy, very fruit driven. Clean and balanced, but not my style of claret. Drinks now

Nose had a bit of cherry, plum at first. After decanting for two hours, more plum, licorice, and spice. The mid palete had a cheap oak / wood chip feel to it with a slight vegetal finish. The finish was better after decanting.

Has some wood chips on the nose, very green and hard on the palate, not all that harmonious and very international but really, what can you expect?
