  A masculine wine no more.
  Aromas of cherries in Alexander brandy, rose petals, wild strawberries, humid earth and worn limestone.
  On the palate the texture is diluted although it still has a lot of acidity which ensures greater longevity. Tremendous vintage. To be discover.

  Aromas a cerezas en brandy Alexander, pétalos de rosas, fresas silvestres, tierra húmeda y piedra caliza desgastada.
  Al paladar la textura se va diluyendo aunque todavía tiene mucha acidez lo que le asegura una mayor longevidad. Tremenda añada. A descubrir.

  First comes first and a summary of this bottle: young. Nine years on (the limit is ten years according to the back label) and this wine has earned in elegance but retaining the notes of cherry (PN) and fresh vegetables (César). They are accompanied by other mineral touches of limestone. That soft texture, resistant acidity and totally tamed tannins are the highlights. Also a good length and a delicious aftertaste. There are still two bottles left in their case. I am really happy. Still masculine yet refined. Stephanie was on the label. Those were the times.
  
  Lo primero es lo primero y un resumen de esta botella: joven. Han pasado nueve años (el límite es diez años según la contraetiqueta) y este vino ha ganado en elegancia pero conservando las notas de cereza (PN)y vegetales (César). Les acompañan otros toques minerales de la piedra caliza. La suave textura, una resistente acidez y unos taninos totalmente domados son lo más destacado. También una buena longitud y un delicioso postgusto. Todavía quedan dos botellas en su caja. Estoy feliz. Todavía masculino aunque refinado. Stephanie estaba en la etiqueta. Como pasa el tiempo.

  Le vin démontre une grande fraicheur, sur les petits fruits rouges et noirs, légère note boisé. Bien goûteux en bouche avec une acidité élevé et des tanins bien présents, le tout en harmonie. Un belle bourgogne vendu à bon prix!

  Pairing Irancy Wines in Madrid (Restaurant La Piperna - Madrid): Surely the wine of the night.
  Intense, powerful , fragrant and oily texture.
  An interpretation of the multifaceted and male terroir with a tremendous blow. You can felt it.
  Meat , complex, persistent and rich bitter finish . Has class and can play a place among the greats. He deserves it .
  It matched a well prepared dish bird with black truffle in reduced Irancy wine sauce.
  
  Seguramente el vino de la noche.
  Intenso, poderoso, fragante y de textura oleaginosa.
  Una interpretación del terruño multifacética y masculina con un golpe tremendo. Se hace sentir.
  Cárnico, complejo, persistente y con un rico amargor final. Tiene clase y puede disputar un sitio entre los grandes. Lo merece.
  Maridó un bien preparado plato de ave con trufa negra en salsa reducida de vino de Irancy.

  Returning from Holidays (Restaurant La Piperna - Madrid): I gave this bottle as a gift for a friends if mine and they, sudden and surprisingly decided to open it. Thanks guys but unnecessary after my trip to Irancy.
  I really appreciate that masculine character of Mazelots. Four years on still full power. Nicely complex. A long life ahead.
  
  Le di esta botella a unos amigos míos como un regalo y ellos, sorpresiva y repentinamente decidieron abrirla. Gracias pero totalmente innecesario después de mi vuelta por Irancy.
  Aprecio de verdad el carácter masculino de Mazelots. Tiene cuatro años y todavía está llena de fuerza. Bellamente compleja. Tiene una larga vida por delante.
