Opened with a 66 Margaux (second growth) and 77 Ridge Montebello. Right out of the bottle it still had some grip with slightly noticeable tannins and some fruit although very singular. With air (left in the bottle and didn't decant) it gained some depth and held up very well against the others. I expect it still has some years ahead of it and didn't taste like it had gone over the hill when compared to the Ridge and Margaux. The color was still bright and hadn't gone rust colored. It was delicious very enjoyable. I wish I had more bottles.
