Opened not decanted. CT says the value is $91. Winesearcher says you can buy it at $45. This was a gift and unfortunately I don’t remember from whom. I do remember it being handed to me and I didn’t open it as I had decanted a bottle from the cellar. My wife made an eggplant parmigiana tonight and I was looking for an inexpensive bottle in our kitchen and thought this would work with the tannins. And I figured it wasn’t a long term ager as it had a screw top. Well so far, my observations are pretty bad but let’s see how this progresses.
Light, bright fruit with an acidic attack; cherry red in color with a touch of clarity; lightweight in body; a touch of chocolate (oak); ends with a dry cherry and somewhat short finish. Hoping it will evolve with air. Fair to Good.
