Nice bricking on the deep ruby colour. Lots of cherries and earthy notes on the captivating nose, and a hint of mint too. Also pure cherry liqueur, leather and earthy notes and garrigue on the elegant but full, concentrated palate. Lots of sediment thrown. This is drinking really well now, but could probably last another 7-10 years. Impressive (A-).

Decanted for 30min, great nose of dark plum, blackberry, licorice and earth. Rich and concentrated flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate and earth on the palate. A little bitter on the finish, never the less a well made gigondas.

Nose: Inky with assorted spices and a loamy quality. Palate: Good acidity and tannins with spices, red fruits, and a medium length finish. This is the last and best bottle of the three. Solid effort.
