Visit of the caveau de Gigondas, Rhône, France: Beautiful bouquet with good garrigue and dark and red berry fruits. On the palate dark berries and cherries, a lot of herbs and spices, good acidity and round tannin. Beautiful wine. Ready now and the next 5 - 7+ years. 91 - 92

In addition to the first note: nice mineralic taste especially mid- to end which make it really balanced.

Quiet heavy with a lot of tobacco, dark chocolate, licorice and berries. A bit of cherry, blood and spices. Nice balance of acidity and tannins.

The nose is sour, animalistic. Actually not very pleasant. More fresh on the palate, where the sourness falls in the background. Challenging wine.
