This is just delicious. Red berries, delineated but not lean, violets and sous bois. Very fine tannins and quite balanced. There’s no need to wait with this one.

Very much a 2011, underrated I think. High acidity, not powerful, though precise and detailed. Autumnal character, dried red fruit and woodsmoke, mushrooms, brown leaves. Wants to pair with food. Really enjoyable, provided you're up for a wine that reminds you of diving into a pile of raked leaves on a cool day.

I did not leave a note on a bottle consumed 5 years ago but my memory was that I though it was closed. No longer so. Translucent red. Red bery fruit on the nose (raspberry and cherry) with a bit of coffee, chocolate, earth and spice. Fine grained and juicy. Salt, leather and earth on the back. Really really good for $38 from Burgundy.

Overpowered by the scent and sauces in the steak house. The rest stored in the frig was oxidized and unsavable. 1/5 hit rate of this domain.

Popped & poured. More red fruits than black on the nose; savory and lighter-bodied on the palate. Not bad.
