Popped & poured, then consumed over 2 hours with dinner. This was initially a bit austere, but developed into a wonderfully open and rich bouquet. Last sip was the best sip. No hurry.

Baked apples and cinnamon on the nose, fresh and generous on the palate with a savoury finish that lasts for minutes. I am glad it is not my last bottle.

Lovely and rich. Shows just a touch of the warm vintage. So well balanced and ready to go. Could have upside for those that love older champs but for most people, no more need to age. Not quite as good for my palate as the 07/08 Grand Cellier d'Or. But the quality is clearly there and I don't regret the purchase. Looking forward to seeing if it evolves at all.

Pale gold. apples & water biscuit on the palate, a hint of cinnamon on on the nose and lively, lingering mousse. It has aged gracefully and I will be in no hurry to drink up my remaining bottles.

Pretty consistent over the past few years. Moderately rich and starting to show early mature notes. A bit of that cinnamon spice. A good, but not great CdC.

(Vilmart & Cie Champagne Premier Cru Coeur de Cuvée) Very light yellow color with abundant, steady, tiny bubbles; very appealing, yeasty, tart pear, baked apple, subtle spice nose; tasty, delicious, elegant, tart apple, pear, mineral palate; long finish (heart of the free run pressing--the first 2,000 liters from the press, with the first and last 200 or so liters removed)
