Thought this was very average for a Silverado Solo. Maybe it's going through a dumb period right now, it wasn't bad, but I expect much more from this bottle.

Excellent single vineyard stags leap 100% Cab. Decanted 1 hr and drank as it opened up over 3 hours. Long finish and refined, integrated tannins Peaking now.

This is drinking fabulously right now. My biggest complaint with Solo is that the tannins tend to over-power the fruit. They are just too tight, needing a whole lot of time in the bottle before it balances out. The 2002 is like that. The 2009 is like that. The 2010, however, is ready to go. Who knows how time will treat this gem of a vintage, but I'm not sure I am going to have the patience to find out. I've got one more bottle of this and it's being saved for Christmas or some other really nice occasion.

I paid $200 for a magnum to torture myself. Paradigm cab for less money blows this out of the water.

A good cab, but somewhat subdued. Easy drinking, but expect more from a Stag’s Leap cab.
