Thought this bottle might be reaching end of life, but turned out to be quite nice. Was afraid decanting might damage it, so let it breath in the glass. Evolved nicely, and did so over several hours, so decanting would likely have been fine.

Maybe it is just me, but the Solo's just don't have the same kind of balance and depth as other premium Napa cabs like Joseph Phelps, Caymus, etc. The fruit and tannins never came together, leaving a wine that is at once very fruity on the front while also having a strong pepper/wood finish. Should I have waited longer to drink? It didn't taste young to me, but perhaps I just wasn't patient enough.

Really liked this. Not an earth shaking fruit and alcohol bomb. A good deal more subtle. Very elegant and and feminine. The fruit is currants and plums and the major sensation is black tea. The finish is long but smooth and the tannins are very soft and well integrated. This has a lot of time left but is drinking very well right now.

This is an elegant cab, not your typical big bold cab. Pairs well with food and also very nice on its own. Opened two hours before drinking but it was ready to go upon opening. In it's drinking window now but not close to over the hill.

Really dark, pruning finish. Past it's time.
