Pale salmon color with watermelon rind, red fruit, and subtle spice aromas. On the palate, it's between light and medium-bodied, fresh, very dry with an alluring texture. It shows strawberry, tart cherry, a bit of orange rind and spice flavors that build on the finish.

I love Turley wines and really wanted to love this. Unfortunately, there isn't much to like about this wine. If I had tasted this blind, I probably would have taken one sip and poured it out. But it is a Turley so I gave this much greater latitude. Sadly, it never came around. There isn't much fruit. It is very tart and acidic. Perhaps food would help but overall this is one of the least enjoyable bottles of wine I have had in years. My advice to Turley Cellars? Stick with big red wines and White Coat. This wine sucks and diminishes your brand. If you can't do better, stop producing it. Seriously.

Pale rose. Nose of watermelon. Palate was dry, spice, cranberry strawberry background. Not a big wine at all. Pleasant, easy wine.

Not that acidic and very subdued but very nice and mellow for an easy sipper. For $15 this is solid summer time quaf
