It's been quite a while since I've had one of these. 10 of 12. Dense colour, nose of ripe cherry. Tannins largely resolved. Good acidity. Palate shows done younger notes still, rhubarb. This was consumed over 3 days and did not degrade in the slightest, so seemingly plenty of life in this. The palate certainly supports this.

Ripe fruity notes of cranberries, strawberries, red cherries and a bit of cassis and banana notes hidden in the background. Plenty of ripe tannins that cling onto the palate, but not at all obstructive or astringent. It has the playful/casual vibe of Beaujolais, yet has fair bit of seriousness. A lot more intense than most other Morgon Cote du Py.

Sort of got lost in the shuffle. Seems it may be in a bit of a tweener phase. Not exactly young and trouncing you with pent up potential, but not yet quite open. I think another 2-3 years should really see it blossom. The last glass was much improved which usually bodes well.

Raspberry and strawberry fruit, a little watery in the middle with medium tannins. Possibly in a shut-down phase...if I had more bottles I’d sit on them for a few years and see what happens. The aromas are certainly delicious.

Ruby. Very floral. Beautiful combination of ripe, layered black cherry, tangy cranberry, and mineral that speak of high level cru Beaujolais.
