Purchased in Montalcino and enjoyed in Durban South Africa. Perfect accompaniment to bbq beef short rib. Initially juicy (the wine!) on entry with the slow dry claw of sangiovese lurking on the finish. Totally acceptable and a fine memory of my visit to the Crete Senese.

need a bit of air to calm it down.
