  Good+. Not quite on par with the better examples of the rosso wines from this vintage, the lack of (only slightly) freshness here is a personal nit, but most would find the bold, rich fruit flavors more appealing anyway. VERY primary today (almost a barrel sample), this is meaty, thick at times, though some soil notes round out the package. That said, the EtOH, and other factors suggest more time in bottle is required before this hits its peak plateau. 15,0% abv. I can recommend, with the caveat that I'd have to be in the mood for this style.
