  Lovely wine, but needs time to open up. From a bottle in good condition with a sound cork and good fill, this was quite reticent and closed initially. Plenty of material and tannin in keeping with the vintage. Starting to open up with earth, sous bois, dark fruits after an hour, excellent after 2 hours in the decanter. Proper burgundian weight and balance. I would imagine that this could live a very long time. Great source for traditional style burgs.
