  Medium garnet color with a touch of thinning on the edge. Popped and poured based on the wines age. The nose immediately offered up aromas of cherries with hints of raspberry. It may be just past prime drinking, so don't wait on this one! A lovely gracefully elegant wine from this producer which left me wishing for a bit bigger wine. EG WineArchitect

  nice medium red with beautiful and pure red fruit nose with loads of cherries. Smoothed out nicely after an hour in bottle, pretty sharp acidity and not the finest in terms of complexity but a nice Volnay entering its prime drinking window, still slight harsh at the end.
