Very dark in colour. Nice aroma of fruity blackberry cake and oak. Well integrated body. Full body. Very rich blackcurrant flavour with good acidity to balance. Super smooth and comfortable to drink. At the very best time to drink now.

Sad this is my last bottle. 3 hour decant well rewarding, opens up to a berry forward shiraz that generously coats the mouth and gives a long lasting finish that is mind boggeling. Fantastic wine drinking incredibly well now.

A treat. After the Armagh 1997 last week, Proof that aged Aussie Shiraz holds its own against the best Syrah from the Rhone.
The nose is a riot of cherry kirsch, earth, meat juices, vanilla and Asian spices.
Beautifully resolved with fruit, tannins and acid in balance and a gorgeous round and full mouthfeel.
24 years and going strong. In a wonderful place and still with plenty of life after 3 hours in a decanter so good for a few years yet.
