Deep, cherry red color with no signs of bricking. Great clarity and substantial legs. Raspberry, cherry, cola and chocolate on the palate. Full bodied with well integrated tannins. Great balance with some earthy secondary notes of coffee and cocoa dust. Will last another few years but seems at peak now. This bottle and vintage almost (but not quite) converted me from a bigger Bosche’ fan.Drank with dark chocolate nuggets and artisan crackers overlooking the golf course at the tGrove Park Inn.

Medium, cherry in color. Great clarity. Incredibly, long lasting legs in the glass. Raspberry, cherry, cola and a hint of sweetness on the palate. And of course the omni present Rutherford dust. Tannins are pretty firm still and although this was very tasty and well received, I could have waited another three to five years before opening.

A lovely mature wine, I decanted this off a fine sediment two hours before drinking it. Deep purple colour. Good bouquet, of plums and tobacco leaf, then intense cassis fruit and some cocoa, very smooth tannins and a long finish.

Clear, deep garnet with very slight rim browning. White pepper, anise, tobacco. Low acids, medium tannins. Cinnamon. Long balanced finish. Acorn dinner.

Dinner with Franny. PnP - Dark fruits on the nose, but somewhat closed on the palate. Yummy.
