Rubber Ducky stopper. Light bright copper, little or no spritz. Waxy melon or linden leaf, tea, and sweet apple; medium-sweet, lime-tinged honey, clean, medium finish. Well made but at an everyday quality level. Drink now but will hold a bit.

Slightly golden but mostly straw colour. Slightly but noticeably sweet on the nose, with the smell of alcohol underneath the fruit. On the palate, definitely on the sweet side, being a late harvest wine. Past medium sweet into sweet territory. Harvest sugar 20.8 degrees brix and residual sugar 4.5 degrees brix, per label. A mildly pleasant experience to drink this wine. Neither the nose nor the taste is better than the other. They are in balance. The aftertaste is short and underwhelming. But this would make a good after-dinner wine, e.g. with cheese. This wine should appeal to people who do not have extremely sophisticated taste in wine. Nothing very objectionable here. $13. A respectable showing for a Michigan Riesling. Michigan does Riesling reasonably well.
