yellow gold, very forward aromatics, orange zest, lychee, apricots, honey, people really liked this wine, but not readily identifiable as Viognier, but if you have had Lia multiple times before, definitely identifiable

Rather tart initially, but fruit cake through more as it warmed up and it smoothed out. But never really overcame the tart edge. Decent, but peobably was better 2-3 years ago.

Delicious with wonderful mouth feel and integrity. This is the longest held bottle of Lia we've had. It was worth the wait. Initially it tasted of a very pleasant white with hints of pears and a bit of pineapple, bit once it opened there were all sorts of magic in the glass with honey and a rich vanilla leading the way. I would guess there are are more years ahead for properly cellared bottles.

I am with Tanzer on this wine. Very creditable effort with Viognier. Genuinely Rhone-like, though not as sharp or deep as really fine Rhones. QPR is excellent-quantity is an issue. I wish I had more.

served too cold initially-my fault; once it warmed up had peach and flowers to the nose, better acidity than many viogniers, and nice round mouth feel. good finish.
