Decanted for 1.5 hrs, Smooth integrated tannins, still has acidity for food. Drinking now. Pencil shaving, lead, lacks layers, i was expecting. Short-med finish.
Med-long finish. still drying tannins in the end.

Wonderfully integrated and lovely. Black/blue fruit still showing along with some cedar, leather and spice. Balanced and integrated drinking on point. Enjoyed along side 89’ Chasse Spleen which was equally as nice. The 4 of us were split on the winner.

The Travellers Club, London (The Travellers Club, London): Jumped out of the list at The Travelers Club, London. We decanted and served after 30 minutes and this we are happy to report is on point. Well evolved, classic and in a way old school and takes advantage of the full beauty that was the 2000 vintage. Still very much a sense of rich fruit, secondary though with that leathery side working well with fine and well round tannin. A beautiful bottle. 93-94
