  • (SYP) PNP from a magnum. Blind tasting
Reduction and some greenness. Rather heavy and dull at first. Thought it was a Village or 1er cru from Sauzet. It seemed to need lots of time to come around

  • Dinner at Sumi Noosa. This wine opened beautifully with a pale green-gold colour and fresh nose of Nashi pear, yellow peach, touches of lemon and lime and a citrus flower lift. The palate is rich and juicy with excellent drive and density providing a fine lingering finish. A delicious wine sealed with cork and wax that is a lovely example of Chevalier in this vintage.
