  Very closed and acidic at first, but opened up nicely after 1 hour and double decant. Light color with brownish hue. Soft wine with complexity. Earthy notes with nice, subtle fruit character. Definitely at or slightly past peak now

  Pretty fruity nose where spices mingle with bright red fruits.
  
  Very fine on the palate, playing it Burgundy Pinot. The estate is known to vinify in order to produce fine wines, and it shows straight away. The construction remains quite simple with aromas of wet stone but the finish catches up with a set a little tight on the leather which dominates with a good length which stretches the whole.
  
  It's a good Barbaresco, which can be found a bit tight on the palate but explosive in the end.

  Not too heavy, soft tannins and enough fruit. Good mature bottle of wine and good value for a restaurant.
