  I opened this bottle six days ago and it was astringent and tasted like it needed another decade or so. I lsaved one glass and tried it tonight.
  
  Cherry and leather nose. Nice fruit on the palate. Tannins are still firm and the astringency remains, but a decent wine is poking through. I think my “hold 10 years” conclusion last week is still valid.

  Fragrant nose, showing cherries, roses, and a touch of leather. The tannins are a bit tight, but there’s nice cherry and subtle leather notes. Will likely be a bit better and more accessible in 3-4 years but with an hour or so of air and some food, you can drink now.

  I got acid and cherries and that's about it. Not much opened up after a decant, no balance or complexity to the experience. I'm going to chalk this up to an off bottle, as this does not match up to other reviews of this wine.

  COL_SUR nailed the tasting note. I’d add dried earth to the palate. 5+12+17+7=91
