Red berry fruit but tertiary aromas of damp forest floor and some polished wood. The palate has rich berry baked fruit and spices with some tannic grip still present alongside bright acidity. It’s a food wine and I’m about to enjoy this with roast pork and roasted potatoes.

Drank at home. Didn't expect much due to highly questionable provenance of the wineshop I bought it from. The wine felt more developed that it should have been. The nose shows more earthy notes, sundried tomatoes, spicy and nutty notes but with a nice pure red and black fruit core. In the palate the wine feels fully developed. Its earthy, the wine shows medium body, the fruit is more on the overripe side with black fruit mostly, smooth tannins, medium acidity and medium finish. Very good quality as a wine, it should have been outstanding with a better provenance. Even like this though, the wine is far better than many other wines from Xinomavro, which says a lot of the value of it.

Sweet raspberry juice and red cherry, earth and spice. The palate has firm tannins which are slightly drying, sappy red cherry, dusty, earthy textures. Good but needs more time.

Ruby with a slightly muted, red cherry nose. The palate has powerful, red cherry, red currant flavours with a lovely chilli, pepper, spicy hit. Tannins integrated, acidity still there to keep it fresh.
