  Decanted, light sediment. Color still fairly light red. Dried fruits and a little moss. A good pop and pour. Still drinking well.

  Decanted. No sediment. Color was lighter than expected, not a lot on the nose. Taste of dried fruit, a little earth. Needs about an hour to open up.

  This bottle has improved since my last about 3 years ago. Still very structured and overall powerful for what would otherwise be a more humble bottling. Barbaresco experience at a nice discount.

  Let me state up front - this is a very well made wine. I don't especially like it. Nose big, powerful, a tad hot. Stewed cherries, plum, pepper, volatile hints, some floral hints, vanilla Palate more balanced than I expected, but a tad flat and hot, mdoerately complex, big, and clean, and well made - in a very modern way. This is the hotter, oaky, ripe, fruit driven take on Nebbiolo I am just not that fond of. But they did a superb job with this style. So, respect, but not like.

  From 3L. Could have used a few more years, but decanted and it opened up over the course of the evening. Solid neb.
