  Actually, really enjoyable. Aroma was thick in the nostrils and of Leather, tobacco, smoke, black fruit.
  Palate mimics aroma, plus black cherry & licorice. Medium plus Tannin. Balances with acidity

  Well structured - nice red fruit, cola, tar..med+ acidity, med+ tannin, good finish. Very enjoyable with sopresseta pizza!

  Big structure, will benefit from a couple years in the cellar.
  
  Decanted, poured off a couple ounces, then back to bottle for 24h slow ox.
  
  Nose shows dried roses and dried light cherry. Palate is medium light body with big but elegant tannins. Also able to pick up some subtle red fruit, dried roses, herbal tinge. Think dirty dusty raspberry. Finish shows some dried oaky mocha, big structure, maybe some wet tar, the same dusty raspberries and dried rose petals.
  
  Varietally correct Nebbiolo. Won't blow you away but reasonable value at $25-30ish.
  
  Drink now with a 2h decant or hold for a few years. 87-89
