  Calvari 1998: rosso granato scuro. Naso sfacciato, esuberante, molto ampio e complesso, goloso. Frutta rossa matura, dolce, cioccolato, le solite spezie, carcadè e tabacco. Bocca ampia e voluminosa e densa ma non pesante, ottimo equilibrio, tannino dolce, buona freschezza nel finale e molta sapida mineralità in chiusura. Molto lungo, molto goloso. In fase di trasformazione, tra qualche anno potrebbe essere sul gradino più alto. Spartiacque.
