  That’s the 2nd time I taste this lovely 1er Cru by Lambrays. Powerful, intense, ripe red berries over spices. Youthful character with amazing freshness and expressiveness. Drinks well now and will for 10+ more years.
  
  Grapes aren’t destemmed, fermented in steel and aged 18mo in 50% new barriques. Cuvee Le Loups is the blend of younger vines from Clos de Lambrays with 1er Cru Clos Sorbet adjacent to the estate. Before they used to blend La Riotte and Le Village. Tiny production of 8-10K per year makes it a rare find. My favourite from the Domaines range, best QPR.

  Robe rubis orangé de bonne intensité. Nez avec boisé et caramel présent; notes de mures et d'épices. Bouche fine, sans grande concentration mais bien parfumée. Longueur correcte
