  • This is an interesting wine, very concentrated but not fully integrated. It has intense perfume which needs air, or very small sips well aerated, to consume. Mild cassis, bell pepper, black olive and long medium to mild tannins with lively acidity give it good complexity, but the stages of flavour are almost jarring in how they abruptly transition, with intensity. There's a sweetness, a hint of toast and a very slight note of banana particularly when freshly poured. The wine was a little bit hard to enjoy on the whole, though. More interesting than tasty.

  • This promises more but is decidedly ‘green’ on the palate now, hold off for say 5 years.
