Drinking really nicely. There's some spice and plenty of citrus. It has good shape with plenty of underlying minerality. There's a touch of vanilla to the finish and it is long.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Virtual Tasting (Planet Earth): Complex array of orchard and citrus fruit aromas and flavors with a firm structure and faint botrytis hints that subtly add further nuance. Impressive density that I'd have thought Grand Cru if served blind, with a long finish. Possibl further upside from here.

Full if not fully expressive nose -- dense white fruit with some florals. A very classic style. Palate is rich and concentrated with a bit of sweetness (botrytis?) on the fruit. Nice mineral notes that are well integrated. A more rustic and rugged style of white Burg.

Popped 'n poured, this wine exhibited the power of a corton charlemagne even while still showcasing the flintiness and other mineral characteristics I love so much in puligny. It was initially served too cold, and as the bottle warmed up it just got better and better, standing up well with a very rich chicken and mushroom casserole.

Intensely floral with plenty of ripe apple on both nose and palate. Very impressive concentration, nearly seeming to have Grand Cru density. Bright and minerally finish with good length. Very good now, with upside.
